Today’s Issue: General Wesley Clark is taking fire for remarks he made questioning John McCain’s qualifications to be president based upon his war hero status. This sh*t hit the fan Sunday when General Clark, former Democratic candidate made an appearance on Face the Nation with Bob Schieffer. Simply put, General Clark went where no one in this country was supposed to go. He dared to question whether John McCain’s military experience in and of it’s self, was sufficient to qualify him to be president. In our opinion, in no way did General Clark disparage John McCain’s military record, his sacrifices and reputation or impugn his character. He just asked how could one equate McCain’s war experiences with what it takes to run a nation. With little else placed before the American people that they could use to evaluate John McCain’s ability to lead this country in a time of wars, economic collapse, and non-stop natural disasters, all the hype over John McCain has been about his service an
